Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Lucas has launched a new range of remanufactured tut, bochargers.

The current turbocharged truck and bus market of 325,000 vehicles is expected to grow by 3°0 a year, says Lucas which claims that one in six turbocharged vehicles will require a new turbo during the next year.

The new exchange range contains more than 1,500 part num• hers covering 1,800 applications and giving 90"0 coverage of tur• bocharged engines in the UK. All turbos come with a full 12-month warranty and are available through the Lucas distributor network.

Lucas has also introduced a turbo hotline— (0844) 293777-direct to a specialist., and established a dedicated one-day course on turbos at its training centre in Tarnworth.

II In addition, Lucas has added the lveco Ford New Cargo range of calipers to extend its "new for old" CV exchange scheme, under which 30 calipers are now available. Prices are in line with existing assemblies which have been held at 1992 levels.

Finally from Lucas come two new catalogues for truck brakes.

The first contains the range of spares for hydraulic air-operated drum and disc brakes with reference to the illustrated parts list and maintenance manuals. It also includes a braking equipment application chart (Al format), available through Lucas distributors, to aid identification of brake types. brake and clutch actuation equipment and service tools.

The second catalogue details truck brake pads and illustrations for Iyeco, Mercedes-Benz, RVI, Volvo, Optare, Leyland Dal and Kassbohrer disc brake applications.
