Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

RENAULT has expanded its range of British market vehicles with the introduction of its first three-axle tractive unit, a rear steer 6x2 version of the G260 38-tonner.

It was developed jointly at Dunstable by Renault and York Technical Services. The conversion is carried out at York's Corby plant but offered as an on-line option.

It is designated the G260 22TD, and the 3.82m wheelbase (outer axle spread) unit will be displayed for the first time at the Motor Show and will be available to operators early next year in day or sleeper cab form.

The G260 is powered by Renault's 9.8-litre MIDS 06.20.45 turbocharged engine while the Renault 18-speed 818 splitter gearbox will be fitted as standard.

Air suspension is used on the intermediate axle which is positively steered through a ZF8046 steering box controlling both forward axles. The third axle is conventionally suspended on semi-elliptic leaf springs.

With a total kerb weight of 6.89 tonnes, the G260 22TD day cab conversion has a trailer payload potential of 31.11 tonnes. Kerb weight of the sleeper cab version is 6.97 tonnes.
