Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

AS A YOUNG MAN who earnestly wants to get qualified, and make my career in the transport industry, I was appalled when I arrived at my evening class and was informed that the associate membership of the Industrial Transport Association course had been cancelled, and that there was no other college in London providing tuition, the reason being that there were insufficient numbers to make it worth while holding the course.

Surely it is about time employees of transport firms "woke their ideas. up" and realized that they should make themselves fully cognizant with the ever-changing legal requirements and manage ment techniques within the industry.

The employer should not just leave it to the individual; full encouragement should be given to employees for the furtherance of their education. I am thankful that my employer is forward thinking and gives me all the financial and moral encouragement I need to continue in my studies.
