IN ORDER that they could work in conjunction with the Glasgow-Manchester Freightliner Service, Kaye Goodfellow (Transport Consultants) Ltd., Manchester, successfully applied to the North Western LA Mr. C. Hodgson in Manchester on Tuesday for a new A licence for 13 vehicles and a new B licence for two vehicles.
It was the intention of Goodfellow to take over Daces Motors Ltd., Manchester, said Mr. V. Micklewright, Goodfellow traffic manager. If the firm did this, larger and more modern vehicles than were at present in the Daces fleet would have to be acquired in order to cope with Freightliner containers.
