FEEDER BUSES will form par a rapid transit rail service wh will be introduced in Dublin 1984.
As part of a rail electrificat programme which forms par a long-term plan for a city-w rapid transit system, Cores lc pair Eireann will intro& feeder bus services in the nc and south of the city.
One-man operated sing deck buses will be run on services, details of which h. still to be finalised, and throt ticketing will be available us advanced technology. Most the routes will run on the sa high frequency as the elec trains.
According to CIE, arou 80,000 passengers are expec to use the rail service every c against the present diesel 1 vice's 40,000 and the 1970 fig of around 20,000. Feeder bu will help attract business, it lieves.
