Britain's First Motorway Lighting: The first motorway lighting in Britain is to be installed on the new Chiswick-Langley overhead section of M4. Air Products Expansion : Air Products Ltd. have created a carbon dioxide marketing department, with Mr. L. J. Ward as CO, product manager. This product line is an addition to the air products range of industrial gases.

Petrol Companies Expand: Contimmtal Oil (UK) Ltd. and Jet Petroleum Ltd are to move their London head office from Berkeley Square House, Berkeley Square, W.1, to larger premises at Greater London House, Hampstead Road, N.W.I (Euston 0511). These are the Continental companies operating and marketing in the United Kingdom. This move, which will be effective from November 16, is the result of progressive expansion and development of both companies. Container Fittings: Having received many requests for details of what has been termed an international standard for the corner post fittings of freight containers, the British Standards Institution states that there is no international standard or recommendation dealing with these fittings although a proposal on this subject tabled by the U.S.A. delegation in Hamburg has been reilered to a working group: it is on the agenda for the next meeting of the ISO group early in 1965. Kenning Acquires Lind; The Kenning Motor Group has purchased the coachbuilding firm of Lind Bros. Ltd., of Baffigate, 'Scotland. The acquisition will enable the Kenning group to operate a commercial bodybuilding service within easy reach of the Batheate factory of the British Motor Corporation, from which many of the chassis will be drawn.
