Irish Truckfest

Bid for Bosnia
ADvaluable collection of rare workshop manuals, owned by Michelin employee Tony Wilson, is up for grabs. The reason for the sale is to raise funds fir Lane Valley Refugee Aid, through which Wilson and others have been taking aid to refugees fleeing to Croatia.

Minging its way around Britain on a five-month tour of pigeon clubs is Interlink's somewhat eccentric pigeon express, which carries 4,000 birds in an air-conditioned trailer. They can be released from either side to take part in races up to 500 miles.
Interlink also sponsored the British team for the 23rd Pigeon Olympiad earlier this year. Fine by me — if they want a few more of our feathered friends they can have the lot that have made an unholy row and mess nesting on my balcony this spring.
