Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• A version of the Ejectaload system designed for rigid chassis has been developed by tipper manufacturer EM Wilcox of Market Deeping.Colliers Industrial Waste of Manchester has taken the first three, all fitted to Foden 4300 8x4 chassis for operating at 32 tonnes GVW The 29m Ejectaload is of allaluminium construction featuring heavy duty extruded sections and 8mm thick flooring. Its bulkhead is propelled by an Edbro hardchrome double-acting four-stage hydraulic rain, PT-0 powered from the gearbox. With the engine running at around 1,500rpm, the body will discharge its load in 40 seconds.

Wilcox has also fitted the Maywood Load watcher system. Its cab mounted display gives both all-up and interbogie weights.

The tophinged tailgate is hydraulically

operated and has a watertight rubber seal around the lower edge to prevent seepage from wet loads. Timber strips, fitted around the top edge reduce damage from bucket loaders.

With a tare weight of 12,5 tonnes (fuelled) Colliers' new Fodens can haul 19.5 tonnes at a time. Transport Manager Reg Lee says They could have been lighter with underfloor tipgear but we've gone for the rigid Ejectaload to get the best stability on the tip site".

Ii Wilcox's Walking Floor range of trailers now get 25nun extruded alloy sides giving 2,450mrn maximum internal widths as well as smooth sides for clean discharges. The first 10.7m, 39m3 version on Fruehauf chassis is for Petersfield Compost and has an optional moving bulkhead to discharge fine material cleanly.
