• GRP Massey has supplied Unigate with another five 11.6m insulated trailers to carry its dairy products.
The 32-tonne GCW trailers' multi-combination eight-door system uses a single top tracking to achieve the maximum possible inner space within an overall width of 2.6m.
The hinged centre pair of doors fold out and lock on to adjacent sliding doors allowing Unigate a one-quarter opening at any point along its sides.
Cooling is via Transfrig 950 underfloor units with roof mounted evaporator.
The orders follow the recent transfer of GRP's Poole branch to its Westbury factory. • Essco-Krone Intermodal Equipment, an offshoot of Ma xilode Transport Equipment, is now assembling trailer chassis in the UK under licence from German manufacturer Bernard Krone. A 13.6ni shallow neck triaxle version weighing 5,400kg is one of three new products being shown by the Wisbech-based trailer builder at the IRTE show.
