• St Neots-based Leay, which transports grass-cutting machinery, has added an MAN 17-tonne rigid with Atlas lorry loader and unusual flatbed bodywork to its small fleet.
Built by Wisbech-based GB CV Bodies, the 1/.192 uses a single airbag in place of hydraulics, mounted under the floor's tail section and with its controls placed along the chassis.
Once the support legs are removed the rear hinges downwards at a shallow angle and the ramp extensions are attached.
The gradient becomes shallower still when the chassis air suspension is exhausted.
