• Gefco is inviting owner-drivers to apply for jobs on driver-accompanied services to Italy and Germany.
The company has already I received 50 applications for the handful of jobs which are on offer now—more owner-drivers will be needed in September.
European road freight manager Ian Spillett says he is looking at 12m trailers, but is prepared to consider other sizes. Ra depend on equipmer whether operators are pre livery their vehicles.
