Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Keywords : Clearing House

Clearing house used to be a naughty phrase in transport terms.

They were accused of capturing traffic, locking it behind closed cages and handing it out like wartime black market rations, to the highest bidder. But that was before your time, no doubt.

It was not before the time of Elsie Phillips, who for forty years has been engaged in clearing house work. Elsie knows the ropes as well she should. She was established pre-war with a haulage company, Kennedy and Coy (Transport) Ltd, which she founded in 1937 until they ceased trading last year.

At 67 she's off again, this time as manager of Clearing House Division of Specialised Industrial Deliveries Ltd of Birmingham.
