THE 16th International Mechanical Handling Exhbiition next week at the NEC, Birmingham — May 16-21 — will cover all aspects of materials handling.

Because the economic disposal of waste is so important these days a special disposal section will be incorporated in the wider field of mechanical handling equipment shown.

Compactors, balers, shredders, tankers, containers, skips and loaders, water oil/swarf and solvent reclamation units as well as cleaning and energy-saving equipment will be seen in a separate outside area at the National Exhibition Centre.

Broader coverage of the show will include industrial trucks, cranes, hoists, storage units, pallets, palletising gear, conveyors and loading-bay equipment.

Back-up information facilities will include information from a Movement Resources Centre, conferences entitled "Economic and efficient materials handling" and a series of five Problem Clinics arranged by the National Handling Centre.

The exhibition is organised by the Industrial and Trade Fairs Ltd and sponsored by the Federation of Associations of Materials Handling Manufacture and Materials Handling News.
