WARRINGTON Borough Council is expected to begin legal proceedings to impose a weight restriction on vehicles using the A6144 through Lymm.
Greater Manchester Council has agreed to raise no objections to the proposal and this decision clears the way for Warrington Council to take action. Some residents in Lymm have complained about heavy lorries being driven through the town.
