ANEW electric chain hoist known as the Colossus has been announced by Anderson Clyde Engineers Ltd.. which features a totally-enclosed, high-torque power pack and enclosed gears, the hook-to-hook measurement of the hoist being only 15 in.
The four models in the range have capacities of 0.25, 0.5, 1 and 2 tons and are available with integral trollies and chain-collection boxes.
