CREDIT-CARD system for use by commercial vehicle drivers has been introduced by Ford Motor Co. Offered through 150 dealers, in association with Diners Club, it enables a driver to obtain breakdown service assistance simply by producing his credit card and it will therefore be of particular use to long-distance trunkers.
It is open to all operators of Ford vehicles, and the company claims that it will mean that bad debts will become a thing of the past.
