AT the recent meeting of the RHA international group, consideration was given to difficulties experienced by hauliers in renewing TIR certificates of approval (GV60 or 61). As a result representations were made to the Ministry of Transport, which has indicated that it is investigating the possibility of regular reminders being issued by traffic areas to TIR operators when their two-yearly certificates fall due for renewal.
