Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE possibilities of the more extended use of semi-trailer outfits as mobile shops are exemplified in a Guy Otter articulated six-wheeler recently supplied by Messrs. Wheatley and Whiteley, 99 Kirkstall Road, Leeds, to the Leeds Industrial Co-operative Society, Ltd.

Built to maximum permissible length, the body was constructed by Silverdale Motor Bodies, Ltd., King's Heath, Birmingham, to a specification prepared in conjunction with the operator and Messrs. Wheatley and Whiteley. The entry and exit doors are located to facilitate the flow of customers, a first essential in a mobile shop of a size that provides for four assistants to serve at a time. Interior lighting is provided by transparent roof -panels in conjunction with a well-laid-out electric system.

A large stock can be carried on the shelves, in addition to which there is bulk storage space at the forward end of the body. Cleanlin, ess, hygienic conditions and ease of maintenance have been carefully studied, with the result that extensive use has been made of aluminium panels, Formica-covered counters, rubber flooring and chromium-plated shelves and mouldings.

Included in the equipment arc a refrigerator and a hand basin with a Calor-gas heater for the hot-water supply.

The shop is for use on the large, wide-spread housing estates in and around Leeds. The semi-trailer chassis is a Carrimore with retractable turntable.
