Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

APORTABLE electric grinder that will cut through a 2-in, by i-in. mild-steel bar in 15 sec., forms another addition to the portable electric equipment produced by Wolf Electric Tools, Ltd., Hanger Lane, London, W.5. There are two types—the AG7 and the AG9.

The specially designed motor has a rating on continuous load of 1.5 b.h.-p., which enables a working speed of 8.000 r.p.m. to be maintained with a 7-in. grinding disc, and 4,000 r.p.m. with a 9-in. disc.

Grinding is performed with the edge of the disc and

both types of tool accommodate discs from in. to in. thick. Those supplied as standard are .1 in. thick. The newly developed resin-bonded cut-off wheels cut with amazing speed and can be used on ferrous metals including high-alloy steels up to I-in, diameter, and on brass, aluminium alloys and other nonferrous metals.
