• UK international hauliers say they will have to persuade customers to change their collection times for groupage services when the French weekend lorry ban begins on 24 March.
"Everything will have to come forward a day," says Stuart Butterworth, operations director at TDS Morgan Freight, based in North Wales.
KLM Cargo is believed to be considering a weekend air freight service between Italy and Schiphol, Holland to beat the ban.

Group chairman Ray Grocott will be discussing the long-term future for international transport with Neil Kinnock's office.
"We will be talking through where we see the future for road/rail integration," says Grocott.
