February: at 3.010 they were 18% below the February 1996 figure of 3,663.
Leyland Daf continued to buck the trend with 707 sales; Iveco Ford was in second place with 567 sales followed by Mercedes-Benz with 470.
Only Leyland Daf has managed to maintain its sales levels—overall sales since the start of the year were more than 2,000 below the first two months of 1996.
