• • Keith Gardiner, a student on the 1968/69 course for Auto Electricians at Motec 1 has been awarded the silver medal for Motor Vehicle Electricians of the City and Guilds of London Institute. Keith, who is employed by Ipswich Co-operative Society Ltd, commenced a six-months' course in September 1968 in company with 15 other students from all parts of the country.
All 15 students entered for the City and Guilds examination in Motor Vehicle Electrician's Work achieved good results, four gaining Distinctions and 11 attaining Credit standard.

Distinction 25.00 per cent 9.7 per cent The second course for Auto Electricians at Motec 1 is now well under way and a third, due to commence in November, is fully booked. Advance bookings for the 1971 course are now being received by the Motec booking department, Capitol House, Wembley.
