a tn. Technical Centre Opened: British Oxygen Company's £.1 m. technical centre at North 'Circular Road, Cricklewood, was officially opened by H.R.H. The Duke of Edinburgh last week. Cricklewood has been the centre for British Oxygen's equipment arid process development and technical service since October, 1960, Until the new buildings were completed recently some development work had been carried out at other company locations. The two new buildings are a six-storey block and a singlestorey development laboratory. Aim of the centre, which employs 400 people, is to develop equipment for gas and arc welding and cutting.

Guildford Services: Brown Brothers Ltd. depot at Walnut Tree Close, Guildford, has now been fully developed as a specialized services branch, providing—in addition to

tyres—an immediate service on Belco and Dulux vehicle paints and ancillary refinishing products, replacement vehicle components, motor accessories and small tools. (Tel.: Guildford 68327.)

Winding-up Order: In the High Court last week, Mr. Justice Buckley made an order for the compulsory winding up of M.T.S. and Co. (Coachbuilders) Ltd., of Feltham. Middlesex, on the petition of Morelli and Co. (Uxbridge) Ltd., of Southgate, London, N., judgment creditors for £390. There were no notices of opposition or support and the respondent company was not represented.

Dennis Luxury Trim: Dennis Bros. Ltd. has adopted Everflex Cirrus 147 vinyl-type upholstery material as standard for cab-interior trim and seating in practically all the company's new models, including fire appliances. The material is stretchable in two directions and is used in a number of highquality private cars.

Peter Hamilton Take-over: Peter Hamilton Equipment Ltd., Matlock, Derbyshire (London office : 19 Berkeley Street, W.1) will take over exclusive elling rights for the range of off-the-highway dump trucks produced by Atkinson Vehicles Ltd., Preston, Lancs. The rights apply to England, Scotland arid Wales, and to all overseas territories not, covered by Atkinson's own associate companies. A new range of Atkinson dumpers will be announced shortly.
