Truro-based South West Delivery Services, which was headed by MD Mark Adams. Simon Lowes of Ashtons JWD was appointed as liquidator of the firm, which is also a Palletways member, at a creditors' meeting last week (7 June). "The majority of the [South West] workforce has been re-employed," said Lowes. Although no one from Kay Transport, which is owned by Gregory Distribution (Holdings), was available to comment as CM went to press, calls to South West Delivery Services' Truro number were answered as Kay Transport Cornwall. South West Delivery Services will now be liquidated.
