Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

EWincanton has achieved a 10.8% growth in operating profit and a 17.8% increase in pre-tax profit in its first year after the Vemerger' from Uniq.

Preliminary full-year results for the year ended 31March 2002 show "strong operational and financial performance," says chief executive Chas Lawrence. Turnover increased by 3.3% to £745.6m; operating profit rose from 226.8m in 2001to 229.7m; and pre-tax profit was up from £21.9m to £25.8m.

"Existing contracts provided a good platform for growth and new business win momentum was sustained throughout the year," says Lawrence.

About two-thirds of new business profit has come from existing customers; new customers include Campino, Hazlewood, Heinz, Q8 and First Milk, as well as construction and home-delivery contracts.

Lawrence says: "This new financial year has got off to an encouraging start and we are confident for the future."
