• Southend-based receiver Moore, Stephens, Booth and White has named a date for the creditors meeting of failed tipper operator Gables Group. The meeting will be held tomorrow (14 June) at the receiver's London office at 1 Snow Hill, Ed, starting at 11:30hrs.
Gables operated depots in Bishop's Stortford and Elsenham under the names Gables Transport and Gables Aggregates before closing two weeks ago (CM 24-29 May) with the loss of 34 employed drivers and 16 owner-drivers jobs.
