a. • David Morgans, trading as DEJ Tarmacadam, of Pontardulais, West Glamorgan, has held on to his Operator's Licence literally by the skin of his teeth", said South Wales LA John Mervyn Pugh, following convictions for carrying for hire or reward with a restricted licence.
Morgans had been called to a disciplinary inquiry following three convictions on the same day at Llandeilo for carrying goods for hire or reward. He agreed with the LA that he had been stupid, but maintained that he was neither a "cowboy" operator nor dishonourable.
