• Donald Wilson, who pioneered the design of aerodynamic bodies with now-defunct Besco, aims to specialise in aerodynamics again with his new bodybuilding firm.
Wilson, now boss of Barham Bodies, has been talking with design consultant Ricardo. He is hoping to work on projects similar to those completed by Besco and Ricardo for the Department of Energy's fuel saving trials with Exel.
Barham is a tiny operation compared with Besco; it has a staff of only four and has made five bodies since launching earlier this year.
Northampton-based Besco went out of business at the end of last year.
