Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

IN REPLY to S. Holmes (CM, May 16) and J. Hamilton (CM, April 4) you are too young and I am too old at 49.

Made redundant eight months ago, 25 years in the business, hold CPC, have clean licence and still very fit, know the dodges and transport law but — still rejected.

Too much bureaucracy and transport legislation strangles the business these days. Also many young managers and clerks with CPC and transport institute degrees but no practical experience don't even hold "black" licence.

But do not despair lads, keep trying, you have a great future and the business will come better. — Any offers?
