HE CASE for approval of the krmitage Report has not been noperly explained either to MPs ar the public, a CM-sponsored orum agreed this week.
At its inaugural meeting in the louse of Commons, the forum if seven MPs and representaives of the Confederation of lritish Road Passenger Transport, the Institute of Road Transport Engineers, The Institute of -ransport Administration, and Jational Bus, agreed to meet on in ad hoc basis to discuss important transport issues.
The objective is to put the proessional transport view to both IIPs and the general public, and ts next session — in July — will liscuss Armitage in detail, with he objective of highlighting its icceptance as a package deal.
