Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

With reference to your article (CM May 9) concerning a Mack truck, thought to be th first ever US-built Mack to go into service with a UK operator.

American-built B-type Macks were being operated by P & S Contracts Ltd, Glasgow, in 1965. In fact Commercial Motor road-tested such a 32-ton outfit in June of that year.

About this time too, the Birmingham-based firm of Richards & Wallington Ltd commenced operating a Mack R-type tractive unit.

Currently, there is a darkblue Mack F-type tractive unit cthe type illustrated in your article) regularly in the Birmingham area, but as yet I have not been able to find out who operates this unit.
