A fleet of 100 radiocontrolled municipal vehicles, including tippers, road sweep ers and buses are helping Southampton police clean-up the area.
The radio-equipped vehicles relay information to patrolling police cars and, if the police are scouring the roads for a vehicle or victim, all of the municipal mobiles are warned.
