St Neots Haulage has gone to liquidation following the ss of a major computer com.ny contract with the loss of ore than 60 Abs.
The computer deal reprented more than 90% of the insport firm's business. Two :ars ago St NeotS went tionwide for its customer and :panded its depots to seven • but earlier this year, the .mputer firm cancelled the ntract at short notice. St Neots says it does not know why it lost the contract and will not reveal the identity of its former customer. Directors Pauline Dixon and Bob Dixon now plan to leave the road transport industry.
The company's mixed fleet of 37 vehicles will be auctioned next week. St Neots Haulage leased depots in St Neots, Dewsbury, Sunderland, Birmingham, London, Portsmouth and Aylesbury.
