• The mild winter hit pre-tax profits of AAH Holdings' transport services, which deals mainly in coal traffic.
Its trading profit only rose by 5% — to 22.1 million — in the year to 31 March.
However, AAH's Environmental Services division boosted its turnover by more than £4 million and the company predicts a substantial increase in divisional sales and profits in the next financial year.
Group pre-tax profits rose by 22% to 230 million.
