• Carrymaster Eurofridge has introduced a new scheme aimed at reefer trailer operators wishing to trade in their 22-pallet trailers for the new 24-pallet dimensions.
As long as the existing trailers are in good running order, the running gear and refrigeration unit can be removed and fitted to a brand new chassis and insulated body.
The basic price for the conversion is E17,000 including the removal and refitting of the fridge unit, And in the light of the length increase scheduled for 1991 a 13.5-metre model is available at £18,000.
