Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

TALBOT is the new name for Chrysler Europe — but commercial vehicles will continue to be called Dodge.

The new name and logo are being applied as part of the PSA Group's policy of maintaining separate identities for its three divisions, Talbot, Peugeot and Citroen.

European activities of the group are being pushed ahead and the network is being expanded constantly to take in private importers in each country and associates of the Talbot group.

In Spain Talbot employs 16,500 (against 22,800 in Britain) and holds 43 per cent of the market for commercial vehicles.

The Talbot name was launched on Tuesday this week and recalls a name which has been to the forefront of automotive developments since the early 1900s.

This week Volkswagen played its Brazilian card by acquiring 67 per cent of the Chrysler Corporation do Brasil which will give VW the chance to establish itself in the ever growing Brazilian market.

VW executives have said that the company will develop a new range of commercial vehicles from four to 13 tons and it will aim to profit from its co-operation agreement with MAN in this.
