Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

BEDFORD this week refused to comment on allegations that it is to import Japanese Isuzu commercial vehicles with Bedford badges.

But the company reacted to deny any suggestions that it was being done to deceive buyers into thinking that the vehicles were anything but Japanese.

The allegations came from the Transport and General Workers Union which says that it is to step up a campaign to boycott Japanese vehicles if they are imported into Britain.

A statement from Bedford this week says that it is a world company with resources in different parts of the world and it admitted that it was already marketing the Isuzu as a Chevrolet LUV (Light Utility Vehicle) in the United States of America.

A spokesman refused to comment on the allegation that the vehicles were to be imported into Britain but he said that there was "never any deception" over the naming of vehicles and he added "General Motors (or any other manufacturer) has no reason to conceal the source of its vehicles."

GM has been marketing the Isuzu vehicles in Australia and other areas for some years.
