THANK YOU for your actic regarding our problems wi British Leyland. We had a r( from British Leyland up here deal with these accounts. appears that British Leylar knew all about the overheatir problem with the Reiver and January 1979 brought out gasket which solved the pr blem.

Even though they admit and know about the years trials — and expenses — whit we operators suffer( they shrug their shoulders much as if to say "too bad".

Our accounts added up well over £1,000 and then v had to sell the lorry, anoth £1,000 less than first deal b cause "'another gasket 1-1( gone.It's a very expensi. gasket!

Anyway, we paid the garai £450 of their account and Le land said that would settle it, y we still have the dealers to pa £152 and £336 for their part: M. MacANGUS Maniac contractors), Tain, Ross-shire.
