National Carriers has promoted Mike Brook to manager of its North London branch in Paddington.
Mr Brook joined National Carriers soon after its creation in 1968 and has been manager of the Aldershot, Slough and Reading branches. In his new position at Paddington Mr Brook controls over 600 staff and 300 vehicles.
The Fashionflow clothes distribution division of National Carriers has also announced two new internal moves.
John Hodge, previously the company's commercial director, takes over as managing director. Before joining Fashionflow, Mr Hodge was an NCL branch manager at Falkirk and commercial manager at NCL Midlands area.
Moving to fill the commercial director slot at Fashionflow is Derek Cudworth. He was previously general manager and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Transport.
Trailer manufacturer Anthony Carrimore has named Edward Cooke as its new managing director. Mr Cooke joins the company from Nova Associates of Massachusetts, USA, where he was manufacturing manager. He is based at the Anthony Carrimore head office in Stanley, County Durham.
Robin Jones is now the manager of the National Bus Company's group market analysis project services. Before taking up this new post, Mr Jones was regional liaison officer for NBC's Midlands and
