ALTHOLIGFI usually made to suit individual requirements, Bolton Patent Shutter Doors are now available from stock in two standard sizes. These are suitable for openings of 12 ft. by 12 ft. and 14 ft. by 14 ft. and have been introduced to enable architects to plan their requirements at the drawing board stage and to eliminate delivery delays inevitable when doors are specially built.
The standard size doors are to the same design as the normal production being constructed from 16 i.w.g. Sheradised leaves attached to a collapsible frame by non-ferrous hinging strips which are also used to connect the outer edges of the leaves. The collapsible frame is a feature of the Bolton shutter door. It enables all the leaves to move together when the door is opened or closed.
