Much work is done for the Scottish Milk Marketing Board, carrying milk to creameries. A fleet for the carriage of meat between the south of Scotland and London is based at Lockerbie.

Mr. T. Atkin, head of the company, said that he hoped there would be complete co-operation between the company and B.R.S., because there was room for both. Mr. J. B. Hastie, Scottish divisional manager of B.R.S., complimented the concern on their enterprise and endorsed earlier remarks about the desirability of co-operation between private enterprise and nationalized industry.
