Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

r An Irish haulier is in shock after his daughter and one of his drivers were killed following an accident with his own truck.

Patrick Cliffe, a Co Waterford timber haulier, was returning home in the rain on the night of 22 December when his truck was struck by the car on the Clonmel-Dungarvan Road.

The secondary road had recently been resurfaced and was in good condition; but investigators believe the car driven by Caroline Cliffe, 19, might have skidded on surface water and crashed headlong into her father's truck.

Her boyfriend, Richard Lonergan, 23, who had worked for the past three years as a mechanic and driver for Cliffe, was a passenger in the car and died instantly. Caroline died the following morning in hospital.

Cliffe was physically uninjured in the accident but went into deep shock when he discovered his daughter to be the driver of the car.
