• Food and drink will be free to truck drivers who use the 35minute Channel Tunnel crossing due to open to freight on 7 March.
Chunnel operator Eurotunnel says drivers will have two choices of three-course meals: the choices will change three times a week and each season.
Drivers will be offered a starter, a hot meat or fish dish with vegetables, dessert, tea, coffee, mineral water and soft drinks. And there will be an English or Continental breakfast. Vegetarian meals will be offered if there is enough demand, says Eurotunnel.
