Every user of F.W.D. vehicles should send to the Four Wheel Drive Lorry Co., Ltd., 46, Charing Cross, London, S.W..1, for a copy of their most useful service calendar: The company are anxious to get into touch with all F.W.D. users, whether the vehicles 'have been purchased from hem or not,'-and the calendar wiil be 'willingly sent both to their own customers.and to all those who have purchased F.W.D. vehicles from the different war dumps.
The calendar contains daily instructions as to what parts of the F.W.D. vehicle should be lubricated, and how often, also the king of lubricant which should be employed ; for instance, B28 every Saturday the foot-brake bell crank, which is No. 5, should , be lubricated with engine oil. If the driver be not able to find this particular part, it will only be necessary for him to refer to the labrication chart, which is printed on the reverse side of the sheet, and there he will find the part numbers arranged in two columns and with a line leading from each to the position of the part on the vehicle. This chart also indicates the lubricant and how often replenishment is required, and this in itself forms a valuable addition to the actual diary.
At the foot of each sheet is a slogan, such as, "Make lubrication a part of your education," "Oil is cheaper than big-end bearings," etc.
