Ifil he orphanage at Siret in Romania, which was featured on the Anneka Rice Challenge television programme, will soon be tucking into six tonnes of chicken courtesy of Hereford-based operator Sun Valley Poultry.
The company is supplying a reefer and two drivers to take aid to the town, close to the Russian border. The consignment will also include fresh fruit and vegetables supplied by local grower Don Powell.
