/ National Welsh is being soldoff piecemeal only a month after calling in the receiver with nearly £.5m worth of debts (CM 9-15 Jan).
Last week Aberdare-based Cynon Valley Transport bought National Welsh's Aberdare and Merthyr depots with 50 buses, making 65 drivers redundant.
Byfleet-based coach operator Tellings Golden Miller has bought the Porth site and 75 buses, which it will run as Rhondda Buses.
Receiver KPMG Peat Marwick is optimistic about selling the three remaining sites at Bridgend, Barry and Caerphilly, which run a total of 150 vehicles.
