/ Dealer Alan Wilson PSV of Ratby, Leics, which is negotiating with Dennis to sell the Javelin coach chassis with Spanish Unicar bodywork, hopes to have a new product for the UK by the middle of the year (CM 9-15 Jan).
"We are keeping our options open and we are looking at integrals as well as the Javelin chassis so that we can have something ready when the market starts to improve," says director Paul Cresswell.
"We are looking to do something long term and are talking to manufacturers in Europe and Eastern Europe," he says. "We don't think there is much future for the old type dealership which is linked to one product."
The company specialises in secondhand PCVs. Last year it sold 150 secondhand and six new vehicles.
