Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A voltage regulator which provides 12V output from 24V commercial vehicle systems is now available from Elindene Investments.

Called the VR42, it is said to simplify the fitting of 12V radio, cartridge or cassette equipment in coaches and commercial vehicles. There are three push-on connections, for 24V input, 12V output and an earth.

All leads, connectors and instructions are supplied. The unit measures 95x79x38mm (31x3ix1iin) and is fitted with self-tapping screws through two fixing holes. Regulation is said to be efficient within variations of up to by producing output ripples of under IV.
