Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Biggest surprise for British journalists visiting the Amsterdam Show last week was the grip which that BBC TV series The Brothers has on the nation. Everyone in the transportdominated Netherlands is watching the series, it seems, and I was told that last month it topped the TV programme ratings.

It is popular, too, on Swedish television, and one of the French transport journalists was bemoaning the fact that they had nothing like it on French TV—but the Dutch have gone overboard to the extent that the star performer at the official opening reception last Thursday was "Edward Hammond "—the ex-m.d. of Hammond Transport in the series. And as my picture shows, he was treated in style : Ford had put a Transcontinental into Hammond livery and it was escorted to the Show building at opening time by a posse of siren-screaming, light-flashing motorbike policemen.
