• Hauliers who were part of the collapsed Time Sensitive Deliveries (TsEIL) magazine distribution network are to relaunch the service on Tuesday (18 December) — initially running on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
The 20 operators will trade under the banner Dedicated Magazine Deliveries, but their consortium, which has 2500,000 backing from a bank, is officially called Visiontrail.
The new company has been holding talks with publishers in a bid to secure most of TSDL's old contracts.
It will lease TSDL's former Enfield warehouse and will run a similar schedule, trunking out of London during the day and delivering to wholesalers in the evening.
